This fantastic tour leaves Dublin early in the morning and you are back at the starting point in time for dinner. The tour follows a circular route so that you do not see the same scenery twice the whole time.
The excursion is full of excitement and fun and you will enjoy magnificent scenery, castles, wild remote regions and of course the towering Cliffs of Moher, not to mention the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, the Curragh, Treaty Stone, Dunguaire Castle, Fanore Beach, the Burren, and Bunratty Castle.
On top of all this there’s the cultural villages of Ballyvaughan and Ennistymon, Lahinch beach, sites where the Spanish Armada visited, the traditional village of Doolin famous for its music, maybe a sighting of the dolphin Dusty in the Atlantic Ocean, ring forts, bog and the famous spine of Ireland, the River Shannon!

Your tour starts from the designated meeting point around 6:50am. spectacular Cliffs of Moher Day Tour from Dublin takes you from Dublin through three of Ireland’s four provinces to the magnificent west coast. To join the tour, make your way to the tourist office at Suffolk Street, the Old Church, Dublin City Centre.
As you pass through the midlands, look out for castles, and notice the way the countryside changes. The further west you travel, the wilder it gets. Fields are separated by hedges and wire fences in the east and midlands, further west they are divided by stone walls.
You arrive at the spectacular Cliffs of Moher around 10:45am and you can spend 2½ hours wandering along the cliff edge. The cliffs rise 120 meters (390 ft) above the Atlantic Ocean and reach their maximum height of 214 meters (702 ft) just north of O'Brien's Tower, 8 km away. You can also see O’Brien’s Tower (entrance not included). We spend an hour and a half at this magnificent location!
In front of you are the Gaelic-speaking Aran Islands. Keep your eyes open for an array of wildlife at the cliffs, everything from fulmars, guillemots and kittiwakes to the cheeky puffins. Your lunch ( at own expense) stop is in the musical village of Doolin around 12:45pm(noon).
After lunch, you will make a 30 minute stop at one of Ireland's greatest National Parks, the Burren around 2:00pm, a botanist's paradise! Plants that would normally only grow in tundra or arctic regions flourish in this area at certain times of the year. Orchids and blue gentians grow wild and are stunningly beautiful. After we’ve strolled around the Burren, we will visit the historic vibrant city of Galway around 3:45pm.
We return to Dublin via a different route to ensure you have the opportunity to see more of the delightful west coast.
Finally, you will arrive back in Dublin by 5:00pm at the latest and will be dropped off at the point where you were picked up.
