As you leave the city behind, the urban landscape changes to that of the rolling hills and hedges of the Irish countryside. You will pass an area called the Curragh in County Kildare. This area is ideal for training horses, due to the well-drained sandy soil. Not surprisingly, the Curragh race track is situated nearby.
You will then travel to one of Ireland's 7 wonders, the world famous Rock of Cashel.. There is much to explore and discover at this breathtaking landmark. It is a huge and complex site with a unique character and this hold an very important place in the Irish architectural history.
Then, you will reach Blarney Castle, giving you the chance to explore the historic castle and its grounds. Venture down the narrow paths of the Rock Close and find the Wishing Steps through an archway of limestone rocks. Here, you may have lunch at your own expense.
After this, you will reach Cahair Castle, which was once the stronghold of the powerful Butler family, the castle retains its impressive keep, tower and much of its original defensive structure. It is one of Ireland's largest and best preserved castles. It is situated on a rocky island on the River Suir.
You will arrive back in the capital Dublin and will be dropped off at the point where you were picked up.
